Why The Kedel Project Blog??

The purpose of The Kedel Pellet Boiler Project blog is to chronicle our experience with the new Kedel Pellet Boiler.  There are so few of these in the United States at his point that there is very little consumer data to research.  These boilers are heavily used in several geographic areas in Europe under the Blackstar name. While researching the unit prior to purchase I realized that customer experiences, such as mine, could be helpful to other consumers purchasing a Kedel.

  2. Wondering what size house you are heating and how old? I am considering getting one of these systems for a 2000 sq ft 2 story home (in Auburn, ME). 10 tons of pellets seems like you might be heating a larger place than I am?

  3. I am heating over 2100 sq ft all on one floor, and the house was built in the late 70's. I'm still updating the windows.

  4. Hello!

I was wondering if after a couple more years, you're still very satisfied with your Kedel boiler?

    Thanks!

  5. Hello, I just bought a home with a Kedel boiler. I am having trouble figuring out how to connect it to the internet. I am following the instructions that came with it, I know my user name and password but still no success. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Alan.
